Texas Great Pyrenees
Rescue was started because one Pyr lover was thrown headfirst into the
problems of backyard breeding in Texas and its inhumane treatment of pyrs
by finding a breeding pair of dirty, mistreated, unloved great pyrs in her
own urban neighborhood. From that person's experience of seeing the lack
of responsive rescue assistance for such pyrs in need, TGPR was created to
provide an organized group of caring members to help the overwhelming
number of pyrs in need in Texas.
Gentle
Giants Rescue We rescue and adopt primarily giant breed "Gentle
Giant" dogs, as well as a few smaller "Little Giant" breeds, from people
who love them but who can no longer keep them, and we find them
qualified, safe, loving homes as inside members of the family. We take
them whether they are perfect, or whether they have been injured and are
in need of major or minor medical care. This is our charity and we will
rescue and save every life.
